Héctor Puchi Vázquez was a photographer
for El Descamisado and the newspaper Noticias. Together
with his colleague Osvaldo Jauretche, Héctor
procured the preservation of an extremely important
collection of images of the decade of the 70’s.
These photos remained hidden in the mail coach of
a train that, during the dictatorship, united the
cities of Buenos Aires and Tucumán. In this
way, they traveled back and forth hundreds of times
in a hidden bag, until they could be safeguarded
in other places. This is one of the most recent
donations to the archive.
